Medical Insurance is a form of insurance used to pay the expenses of medical care. It also includes insurance long-term nursing or custodial care needs. Medical insurance provided to the person from government social insurance program or from private insurance company. Medical insurance is purchased by a company for its employees or by individual consumers. The company or individuals pay premiums or taxes in order to protect themselves from high and unexpected health care expenses. A routine finance structure monthly or annually is set up to ensure the presence of money for paying off the expenses on health.
Medical tourism is term created by travel agencies and mass media. Purpose of it was to emphasis on traveling across the world to obtain health care. Such services mainly include complex specialized surgeries such as replacement of joint, cardiac surgery, dental surgery, and cosmetic surgeries. Providers and customers commonly use informal channels of communication-connection-contract thus it proves to be less regulatory to assure quality.
Over 50 countries medical tourism is national industry. There are risk and moral issues that make this method of accessing medical care contentious.
Medical insurance are sometimes high for individual thus the people cannot afford it. Thus the people could travel to other countries for their treatment where cost is lower than their nation. This is called medical tourism, where an individual goes to some other country where costs of treatment are comparatively lower. The people of United States majorly move to Mexico throughout the year as the cost in Mexico is reduced to one-third as compared to United States.
Consequences of medical tourism are high cost of medical care resulted in making medical banks corrupted. The insurance cost had risen so much that this cost is beyond the limit of several seniors.
The people of Europe go to United States for their treatments as they cannot get satisfied treatment in Europe and due to the fact that many best doctors left Europe. And from United States people migrate to other nations for their treatments due to cost of medical treatments.
Thus medical insurance and medical tourism are essential for people accordingly.
